Ordered VEAL PARMASAN W/ MASHED POTATO that's believed to be the daily special...
FOOD:
- house salad: basically a bowl of lettuce piece w/ shredded carrots and Italian dressing... should have ordered the Caesar instead as that looked more appetizing
- mashed potato: lack of butter taste, but you were able to taste the potato bits... with the addition of gravy, still needed some salt & pepper to bring out the flavour
- veal: very crunchy, reminded me of pork/ chicken katsu... but lack of the actual meat flavour, all you tasted were tomato sauce and the cheese
- gravy: mushroom gravy basically but not enough flavour
ATMOSPHERE:
- very spacious, have 2 sides with either darker or a brighter side -

WE had a birthday party there last night with approximately 14 people. Atmosphere was good, very relaxed, food was great, and the server ran her butt off for everyone with a smile on her face! One person had a Greek salad that was actually not very tasty (lacking authenticity) and that was her entire meal. When asked how it was and she mentioned that she did not care for it, it was removed from her bill, with apologies and an offer to quickly substitute something else! NOW that always speaks volumes to me if something is not quite right and an establishment wants to keep the customer happy! Price, value and taste where all 5 star. Everyone left satisfied and happy ...great JOB Gino's!!

I was so looking forward to having pizza because I hadn't had one for a while. It was pretty bad. Absolutely no flavour, couldn't taste the sauce and the crust was burnt. Would NOT recommend their pizza.

We tried this on a suggestion from a local, That being said she may not have ever EVER had Italian food before and that is why she thought it was good. I cannot remember the last time I have eaten a complete meal and it was this bad. First the good the place was nice and wait staff super nice as well. and the rest..... Started with Calamari and it was oily over cooked and rubbery. They brought out a bowl of "Salad" or a head of iceberg lettuce swimming in watered down ranch dressing, no bueno. My wife ordered poutaine made up food. basically fried raviolis covered in cheese and other mystery stuff. My daughters ordered spaghetti and steak. the spaghetti was regular pasta with watered down red sauce. my other daughter had a steak. Which was the best of the food on our table but it was not good. Now to my meal, I dont know what I was thinking but I got chicken and ribs, I know I was asking for it ordering this at a Italian restaurant. I swear both my proteins were boiled and then fried. It was so bland that i could not have finished this meal.
Overall people very nice, place was ok, food not so good. -

Wow, excellent food and atmosphere. The amount of food you get for what you order these days is beyond suprising. Pork chops and chicken were cooked over a flame to perfection. Pasta enough for two, and that was just a side. We will be going back.
